First day in an MNC..

13th August, 2009 : I got down from the bus at Marthahalli at 7:00 AM, and i thought I had at last reached the place where I've got my future. Had a quick Breakfast and reached office by 9:30. The HR executive kept me waiting for half hour. By the time she had come, the receptionist had taken my photograph, and got my Identity card ready. I thought "God so quick" as ID card in my earlier company took about 2 months... The HR executive came in and gave me about 1000 forms to fill up(just exaggerated a bit). She then left for some meeting giving us time to fill up the forms. It took 2 hours to fill them up. By the time I had done it, I must have had about 2 cups of coffe atleast... Then a very wierd thing happened, I lost my passport. My brother came in and asked me what would I get him, if he retrieves my passport. I had to commit to buying him a lunch, as I was very tense. He took it out of my pocket :( We went to the top floor to have lunch. God such a big cafeteria, but the worst food you can get. Believe me it was the worst I have had there(I've not eaten there ever since). My thoughts wandered around thinking how am I going to manage 10 years here. :) People who know me, know that Food is one thing I cannot live without... Somehow got something into my stomach, and had a walk to the building where our team work. My Manager came to the reception area, and took me inside. He had my login and everything ready by the time I was there, and gave me my PC... People were all doing their work and one guy took me to the Mail room, to collect my stationary. I sat there doing nothing until it was 5PM(Chatting ofcourse) and took leave from my Manager, went back home. Well it was sort of a wierd day, but a day I would never forget in my life. It was my first day in an MNC after all.
